Job Duties:

Responsible for developing and maintaining multiple software applications for business processes and systems using VB.NET, C#, T-SQL and other programming languages.

Specific duties will include:

• Analyze user technical and business requirements and develop software solutions that address those requirements.
• Design, customize and program software applications utilizing web development technologies including ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX, Web Services, WCF, XML and database applications in SQL Server.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve its performance.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Coordinate software installation and monitor hardware and other equipment functionality to ensure that technical and business requirements and specifications are met.
• Provide production support for applications in development by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, and developing and testing fixes.
• Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
• Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.

Required Skills/Experience:

• A qualified applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science and 5 years of progressively responsible experience performing the duties of the position offered or alternatively, a Master’s degree (or its foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science and 1 year of experience performing the duties of the position offered.
• Must also have experience with software development tools including Visual Studio, Subversion, Visio and Mercury Quality Center.
• Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the U.S. for extended periods on short notice.

Job Duties:

Will be responsible generally for analyzing business and technical systems utilizing and implementing a variety of business intelligence applications.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Providing analytical support and writing technical specifications to maintain, enhance, and develop automated systems consistent with user needs.
• Working with business users to create and develop business and data requirements for new reports.
• Working with IBM Cognos Business Intelligence tools and analytic applications including Framework Manager, Report Studio, Metric Studio, Analysis Studio, Event Studio, PowerPlay Studio, Transformer etc. to develop interactive reports, scorecards, dashboards, power cubes and global models.
• Integrating Cognos BI objects including dashboards and reports into SharePoint using Web Parts.
• Installation, configuration, maintenance, support and performing upgrades of the Cognos BI suite.
• Setting role level and row level security automation in multidimensional cubes using First Quarter Security Studio.
• Capacity planning and identifying configuration strategies for maximizing performance and failover.

Required Skills/Experience:

• A qualified candidate will have a Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 1 year of experience performing the duties of the position offered or alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5 years of progressively responsible experience performing the duties of the position offered.
• Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the U.S. for extended periods on short notice.

• Design, customize and program database applications in SQL Server and Oracle.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve its performance.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Provide production support for applications in development by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, and testing fixes.

Required Skills/Experience:

• A qualified applicant will have a Master’s degree (or its foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Applications or Computer Science and 1 year of experience performing the duties of the position offered or alternatively a Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Applications or Computer Science and 5 years of progressively responsible experience performing the duties of the position offered.
• Must also have experience with software development tools including Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Visio and Rational Robot.
• Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the U.S. for extended periods on short notice.
